1. Choose the right tool
A correctly selected tool makes the difference between accurate machining and expensive waste.
Pay attention to:
- the workpiece material (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.),
- the type of machining (rough, fine, final),
- the finish and tolerances.
For example, tools with a higher rake angle and fewer teeth are often used for aluminum for better chip evacuation.
2. Optimize cutting parameters
The wrong choice of speed or feed rate is the most common cause of tool wear and poor machining.
